Welcome to St. James Health & Wellness Institute in Chicago Heights, Illinois, serving all south suburbs of Chicago.

The St. James Health and Wellness Institute is the first medically-based fitness center to appear in the Chicagoland area. Opening our doors in April 2001 we have everything, from rehabilitation and child care services to a healthy café, housed in one impressive 74,000-square-foot facility. These convenient and affordable tools are offered to help local residents adopt and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Our health center amenities include:
• A 15,000 square-foot multi-court gymnasium
• 4,000 square-foot aerobics studio
• 5-lane, 25 meter lap pool
• 1/8 mile run/walk track
• 1/4 mile outdoor track
• A cycling studio
• Fully-appointed men's & women's locker rooms

Additionally, we offer:

We also offer one-on-one health assessments, nutritional counseling and cholesterol screening to all of our clients. There are over 80 group exercise classes included in the membership.

In addition to the health club, The Medical Spa at St. James opened for business in December 2006. Our spa services include manicures, pedicures, massage, laser hair removal, ear candling, Botox, fillers, spider vein therapy, acne treatment and much more!
